ENGINE SWAPS FOR SJ's
Probably the most popular of these would be the 1.6 Vitara engine and he does
make all necessary adapter plates to fit these straight in.
However, there has been a need for more power and the largest engine RHINO RAY has fitted is a 3.9 V8 Range Rover engine and gearbox, which was very lively indeed.
The Toyota 1.6 and 1.8 MR2 engines are very popular as is the Mk1 and Mk2 rear wheel drive Escorts.
He has also fitted 1.8 and 2.0 Opal Manta engines and gearboxes.

HIGH LEVEL AIR INTAKES
These are purpose built by RHINO RAY and they
are 76mm diameter tube 1.2mm wall thickness metal.
These are two-piece constructions to cater for the Suzuki SJ with a front roll cage already fitted. They can be nut riveted to the front 'A' post or clamped to an existing front roll cage hoop.
The finish is entirely up to you. A red oxide primer kit would be sent to your door for £165 plus £15 post and packing. Please note you will need to cut a hole 52 mm diameter into your front wing..
All high level air intake heads are box shaped forward facing with 1" by 1" square mesh fitted over the entrance to stop leaves and any other debris falling in and blocking the air induction.
All other modifications and ideas are also catered for. I.e. fittings for G.P.S. High level aerials are some times fitted on top of air intake heads
